Seek After God - Find Joy and Strength in Him - Matthew 6:33
Share
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you". Matthew 6:33Â
Seek first: This is a present imperative, meaning it is a continuous, active, and diligent pursuit rather than a passive or one-time action.
Why We Should Seek After God With Our Whole Hearts
Seek after God. Yearn for Him, long for Him, God, the one who helps you, the maker of heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:2) The joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10) The sun and the moon rise and fall at His command, (Jeremiah 31:35) the Alpha and Omega, (Revelation 1:8)Â the beginning and the end, (Revelation 21:6) the creator of all things that are in heaven and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things are created by Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16) God, your maker. (Psalm 95:6) Seek Him first and His righteousness, long for him, yearn for Him, and All these things; physical things, spiritual things, emotional things, shall be added unto you. (Psalm 84:2) (Matthew 6:33) Believe God's word, in your heart.Â
